The Malaysian Four Wheel Drive Association (MFWDA) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that serves as the national governing body to coordinate the activities of state-level four-wheel drive associations under the Commissioner of Sports Malaysia, Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The MFWDA was officially established on January 22, 2016, when the MFWDA Constitution was accepted. MFWDA was registered under the Sports Development Act 1997, section 25, along with its Constitution (MFWDA).

Assistance from MFWDA Sports and Development Officers in each state, supporting services and clubs.
MFWDA facilitates forums for clubs to discuss issues affecting them and work with MFWDA to provide solutions.
Upskilling club members by providing access to business planning resources, club workshops, volunteering, and governance training.
Training officers for club members covering risk management, safety, emergency response, and many aspects of event management and control.
Attracting new members through MFWDA-supported participation programs including Come & Try 4x4 Driving and Junior Development Programs.
Retaining members by providing access to competitions at all levels up to the ASEAN and International levels.
MFWDA represents club members to the government on all matters related to motor laws, regulations, and programs.
Promoting state and national MFWDA events in the annual calendar (online and print media).
MFWDA can provide promotional support for selected events or other club activities.
